An excellent opportunity is available for either an NQT or experienced Chemistry teacher to teach chemistry from year 12-13 and general science from year 7-11 at a very reputable mixed secondary school located in Redbridge, East London.
The chemistry teaching position has arisen due to a retirement and will be offered to the successful chemistry teacher on a permanent basis from September.
The school has over 1,450 students on the roll with 300 in a successful 6th form where all Science disciplines are taught and are very popular. The school has excellent resources and the Science department can boast state of the art facilities.
The ideal science teacher will be joining a science department of 10 including experienced support staff and technicians. The science team is excellent and has a very good reputation within the school for stability and results. The successful science teacher's timetable will consist of teaching General Science from year 7-11 and chemistry from year 12-13.
The school prides itself on behaviour and attainment and in 2018 the OFSTED inspection graded the school as "good".
