Are you an experienced Early Years TA looking for a new September role? Are you confident supporting pupils in Reception in a mainstream school context?
REESON Education is recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Early Years TA to join a fabulous Team in one of our Central Wandsworth partner schools. The role will be on an ongoing supply basis starting in September until the end of the school year in July. For the right candidate, there may be the possibility of being asked to return to the school for a second year in September 2022.
The role will be supporting the class teacher with a Reception class of approximately 29 pupils.
As the dedicated Early years TA for the class, you will be responsible for supporting each student and maximising their potential. You will supervise lunch and play breaks alongside lesson time to ensure behaviour is well managed and that the class is working well as a group. You will also meet regularly with the SENDCO, Class Teacher and parents to discuss progress and plans of action to support improvement for relevant pupils.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's UK experience as an Early Years TA either in a SEND or mainstream school setting. The school is also keen to hear from recent Graduates who may have relevant voluntary work experience and who are interested in pursuing a career within education.
Successful applicants must be able to provide 2 recent, education based references as well as have a current, in date enhanced DBS check.
