Finance Manager

Pay Scale: £10,147 - £18,818 per year (FTE £22,107 - £25,747))
Reeson Education are supporting a secondary school in Redhill who require an experienced Finance Manager for an immediate start.
This post is for 18 hours per week and is 42 weeks per year (term-time plus 3 weeks).
The hours can be worked over either three or four days. Working within the small and friendly finance team you will support the School Business Manager and will be accountable for the day-to-day management of the schools' financial systems ensuring compliance with the Academy, EFSA, Company and Charity financial regulations.
You will be responsible for the provision of effective and efficient management of school finances including ensuring monthly and annual financial routines are completed with accuracy and within deadlines.
- Specific responsibilities include:
- Month End and Year End Processing
- Income Generation
- Debt Management.
- School Trip finances
Applicants should have knowledge of finance procedures and an understanding of regularity in the public sector and MAT operations, be able to follow strict financial procedures and communicate them to other staff and have the interest and enthusiasm to play an active part in school life. The successful candidate will be proactive and show initiative with excellent organisational skills and be able to communicate well at all levels and with key stakeholders.
