History NQT
I am working with a good school based in Greenwich who are looking to take on a History NQT for September. This is a full time permanent role teaching up to KS5.
The school's geography department is a team of dedicated historians that take pride in their work and teaching. The department runs frequent extracurricular activities and school trips and encourages its students to consider their position as a global citizen.
The school is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate history NQT to join their department and start on their award winning NQT programme. Students study the OCR course at both GCSE and A level.

The School
This is an all girls school based in the inner London borough of Greenwich. Several years ago the school received a less than positive Ofsted inspection result and since then there has been a major effort on the part of both teachers and SLT to raise the profile of the school in the local area. These efforts have not gone unrewarded and have indeed borne much fruit. During its most recent Ofsted inspection (May 2018) the school went from Requiring Improvement up to being rated as Good in all areas and concurrently recorded its highest set of GCSE results for several years.
The school is very proud of its recent achievements and there is a good atmosphere of academic focus that fosters very good relationships between teachers and their classes and now is an excellent time to be joining their staff.
