Independent Prep School Teacher
A leading North London Prep school is seeking to appoint a KS1Teacher to join their supportive and friendly team asap until the end of the academic. This role is a full time role, temp to perm contract.

This successful 2 form entry independent prep school caters for students from 3 to 11 years of age. The school provides a stimulating and engaging environment in which students achieve high academic results, being encouraged to have inquiring and independent minds. The school has many strengths including their many and varied extracurricular activities offered, excellent student behaviour, high pupil achievement and a positive ethos boosted by pastoral care and a supportive learning environment.
Located in the Barnet/Enfield area, North London, the school benefits from fantastic transport links, alongside a number of London's best cafe's, shops, restaurants and bars.
Position Details:
As an Independent Prep School Teacher you will ensure that pupils receive high quality education designed to promote excitement, enjoyment and enthusiasm in learning, leading to the pursuit of excellence. You will be responsible for creating an atmosphere in which pupils feel valued and where personal endeavour and responsibility are fostered. It will be essential to have the experience and skills to prepare students for common entrance exams as many students move on to selective Independent Schools. The school ensures that class sizes are small, 14 pupils max! There is some planning involved but majority has been planned and will need updating to reflect the progress of the students.
Requirements for this Position:
To be considered for this position you must hold either a Bachelor of Education or a PGCE. Alongside this, relevant experience is essential, QTS and experience in a similar environment is desirable but not essential. NQTs are welcome to apply!
