The School

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced SEN Teacher to join this good-outstanding Mainstream Primary School in Southwark. The school caters for students across Primary ages with pupils and are looking for a specific SEN teacher with experience in Hearing Impairment.

This SEN school is located only a short distance from over ground stations and a number of bus services connecting to Dulwich and Central South London areas. The school has benefited from a stable leadership team who have steadily improved outcomes for pupils over the last few years. The Leadership at the school are determined to ensure that the school becomes outstanding in all areas. The school is proud of their inclusive ethos, and the integration between SEN and Mainstream teaching is transparent throughout the school.

The successful SEN Teacher would need to be able to plan and deliver lessons differentiated to meet the needs of individual students. Due to the needs of the children, the curriculum would focus on communication, social relationships and emotional development, conceptual development and sensory responses. Student's achievement is measured regularly against 3 profiles, with emphasis on individual progress and not specific grades.

You must have excellent communication and team work skills as you would be required to work with support staff, therapists, parents and carers. To be eligible for this position, you must have QTS and experience in teaching children with similar needs

To apply for this full time SEN Teaching position please do not delay in contacting the Primary team at REESON Education ASAP. Shortlisting will be taking place soon and Skype interviews are encouraged during the school closures.
