Secondary SEN Teacher

The School:

Outstanding SEN School based in Central London which offer training and support to progress your CPD. The SEN School caters for students with varied complex needs which may include Autism, Medical & Physical Needs, Severe Learning Difficulties, students range from 4-19 who may also speech and language difficulties. The SEN Teacher required for the Secondary Phase will have great confidence in working with students whom are verbal and nonverbal and working at P Lebels.

The role:

You will hold QTS, QTLS or overseas qualified equivalent teaching qualification. As a Class based Teacher in this School you will plan, develop, and coordinate individual curriculum programmes for students with Autism and SLD in your class of around 8 pupils. Pupils will be across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will implement whole class and group learning activities and continuously assess pupils progress their their specific learning goals. You will work in collaboration with a team of highly skilled Teaching Assistants to deliver outstanding learning opportunities. You will be expected to provide a sensory programme, integrating the physical, academic, social and emotional needs of each individual student.
