An outstanding SEN school is currently searching for SEN TA's to join their highly supportive team. As a SEN TA within this school, you will be working with Moderate learning difficulties, Autism and other complex needs. Therefore, prior experience working with SEN would be beneficial however, isn't essential.
If successful, you will be allocated a class between the Key Stages of 3 to 5, these are small classes that are no larger than 12 students. You will be assisting the classroom teacher to help prepare students for their GCSE's and functional skills test. They are an Ofsted Outstanding school and are well known within their local area of Sutton to be a terrific place to work for. The have approximately 200 learners within their school.
As an SEN TA within this school, you maybe required to assist with personal care, dependent on the ability of each individual child. You will be required to report on the progress of students, liaise with parents, communicate through PECS, prepare the classroom, monitor children at lunch time and other general duties.
