What will be your role as a SEN Teacher?
- Liaising with parents
- Marking and Planning Lessons
- Form Tutor
- Lead and Manage TA's
- Managing children's behaviour
- February Half Term
I am looking for resilient and caring SEN Teachers who are able to remain calm in challenging situations. This is a full time, long term role with the potential to become permanent later down the line. As a Teacher within this school, you will be working with children that have Autism.
What does Autism mean?
Autism which is often abbreviated to ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition) could mean that individuals may have trouble with the following: Anxiety, communication, social interaction, repetitive and restrictive behaviour, varied sensitivity to certain senses such as; light, sound, tase and touch. Children with Autism may rely on different ways to communicate this maybe through PECS and Makaton.

This is an Ofsted Outstanding School situated in the borough of Haringey that educates those between the ages of 3 - 19. They have approximately 100 students within the school. In addition to this, the school is ran by an Outstanding Headteacher with a highly supportive Senior Leadership Team.
