A school for children with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties seeks a talented Teacher to join their team from September. The school is well connected with trains running in to Clapham and Waterloo and they ar lucky enough to have on-site parking also available for Teachers. Students at this School come from all over South London and are some of the most vunerable children with Autism. For this reason, the post requires a Specialist Teacher (must have QTS/QTLS or overseas equivalent) who is able to teach a creative and engaging curriculum to children with complex needs.

The post is taking a small class of students with the primary diagnosis of Autism and students will be in Key Stages 1 and 2, grouped by ability levels. Some students are preverbal and they are working at P Levels. The role is hands on and requires a talented Teacher who is naturally caring, able to work as part of a team and has a can-do attitude. Responsibilities will include planning and delivering sensory learning.
