Your new school
A Primary school in Tottenham are looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 5 pupil. This school, is based in South Tottenham with good transport links. The school has a real community feel about it and works closely with pupils, families and the local community alike. Relationships underpin almost all of what they do which allows them to create a happy and caring ethos where everyone is welcome.
Your new role
In this role you will be working in a Year 5 classroom, predominantly supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis. The pupil requires support with medical needs for their diabetes. As well as supporting the pupil, you may be required to support other pupils as well.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of working with pupils within KS2 and will ideally have experience of supporting a child with medical needs including supervising the administration of medication namely, diabetes.
