Job: SEN Teaching Assistant

A lovely Catholic primary school based in Westminster are looking for a full time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
The hired SEN Teaching Assistant will be working on a 1:1 basis with a boy in Year 2 who has special educational needs. She has slight hearing impairments and will require assistance with her sensory skills and PECs. He performs at a low ability and sometimes goes into Year 1. This role is incredibly rewarding and gives you the opportunity to build a relationship with the child and family a-like.
The SEN Teaching Assistant would need to be resilient and resourceful. The desired person would be fun, vibrant and creative. All SEN Teaching Assistant roles have their challenges but he is not violent or aggressive. From time to time can be a little distressed and needs calming sometimes as he's unable to verbalise how he's feeling.
