Are you looking for a new Teaching Assistant role?
We are currently looking for a special needs teaching assistant to join a small SEN School that specialises in Autism.
The Ideal Candidate?
We are looking for someone who has a strong and nurturing personality, a previous background in health care, and has a strong understanding of ASC.
The School?
This a small SEN school, which is part of a well-known academy trust. They are an Ofsted Outstanding school, which is ran by a fantastic Headteacher and supported by an extremely strong senior leadership team.
The Role?
You will be required to work 1:1 with a child that is currently in KS1, who requires assistance with PEG Feeding, so ideally the successful candidate must have prior experience or knowledge of gastrostomy bags.
- Following and recording individual progress
- Monitoring behaviour
- Liaising with parents
- Personal care
- Preparing the classroom for the school day
