Reeson Education have a vacancy for a teaching assistant at a well-respected Secondary Special Needs School in Essex working with children with challenging behavior.

Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, this fantastic School uses a range of innovative teaching methods to help their students make the most of their educational experience. Students have Special Needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and SLD.

The School has extensive grounds and the children are encouraged to do activities such as Football, Basketball and Gardening.

The role starts April and is a full-time, permanent position which has a clear career progression path. The chosen Behaviour TA will be trained with the ideal to progress into a Head of Behaviuor Unit role - overseeing some of the most complex pupils in the School.

You must have a calm demeanour and resilient nature and experience of working with children with challenging behaviour is essential and we would love to hear from you if you have training and experience using Team Teach techniques or MAPA.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced SEND teaching assistant trained in Team Teach and who has worked with KS3 AND KS4 children before with challenging behaviour.
