Textiles Teacher

Vibrant Textiles Teacher needed urgently in an excellent all-girls school in South West London.

If appointed as a Textiles Teacher, you will need to work part time, Monday to Thursday. Teaching will be for KS3 to KS5 Textiles, as well as KS3 DT.

As a Textiles Teacher at the school, you will be expected to plan lessons, assess pupils work, attend school meetings, parents' evenings, CPD sessions and INSET days.

However, the school is very supportive and will be willing to assist you in all areas, no matter your experience as a Textiles Teacher

The rates of pay for this Textiles Teacher role will be dependent on experience and qualifications, potentially ranging from £170 to £270 a day.

Exam results are consistently excellent at KS4 and KS5.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are a newly qualified Textiles Teacher or experienced Textiles Teacher.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained Textiles Teacher or overseas trained Textiles Teacher.

  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK QTS or overseas equivalent
  • Clear and updated Enhanced DBS
  • Experience of teaching as a Textiles Teacher in UK schools
