We are working in direct partnership with an OFSTED "Outstanding" 2 form entry Primary School who are seeking to appoint a Year 2 Teacher to join their team from April. You will be taking over a well behaved class of 26 pupils as the class teacher will be going on maternity leave.
An experienced TA will be working within the class full time, in addition to another TA who works on a 1-1 basis with a pupil with ASD. Experience supporting and teaching SEN learners in a previous role would be preferred nut not essential for this role.
The school is a lively, diverse, state maintained institution based in a well connected area of Lambeth. Regular Overground trains can take you directly to Central London in under 20 minutes and there are also a variety of local bus routes that make East and North London easily accessible.
The Leadership at school is strong and supportive, with high standards expected but also clear rewards and paths of progression for dedicated educators. Competitive daily rates of pay are also available based on experience, with additional responsibility potentially available for Teachers looking to advance their career.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience as a Year 2 Teacher in the UK, or following a similar curriculum overseas. You must have a clear, enhanced DBS certificate and be able to provide 2 education based references.
