REESON Education are working with a charming, welcoming "Outstanding" Islington Primary school who seek an experienced KS2 Specialist to assume the role of Year 4 Teacher in January 2022. The school are looking to conduct lesson observations, tours and interviews as soon as possible so please apply now to avoid disappointment. The school itself is set in a beautiful area of Islington which is easily reached by a variety of methods of public transport. Staff work closely together across all phases and there is a real sense of community amongst the team. Though the school is a Church of England School, the pupil population is diverse and all faiths and beliefs are welcomed and respected by all.
Academic achievement at KS1 and KS2 is above the national average and the SLT are proud to have been continually rated as "Outstanding" in all categories for over 5 years. Staff turnover at this school is very low and this is due to the support given by SLT and the respect for every teachers work/life balance.
The Role:
The successful Year 4 Teacher must be dedicated to having a positive impact on children in their care. You will be able to successfully plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that are differentiated to ensure children of all ability levels are reached and challenged. The successful Year 4 Teacher will be able to create fun, cross-curricular lessons that promote a joy of learning within the class.
As a full time Year 4 Teacher, you will be taking over a wonderful class of approx. 28 Year 4 pupils. You will work closely with support staff, Senior Leadership and parents to ensure each child in your class feels included and excited about their life at school. You will regularly monitor progress and take a pride in seeing the development of your students over the course of the remaining school year.
The successful Year 4 Teacher candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- KS2 Teaching experience within the UK
- A proven track record of success, demonstrated through references
- A clear, enhanced DBS check valid within 1 year (or on the update service
