An excellent mixed all through mainstream school in North London, is seeking a qualified and experienced full time Art Teacher. The post is suitable for both NQTs and experienced candidates.
The school is looking to appoint a full time Art Teacher for January 2020. Responsibilities will include all standard elements of class teaching, such as planning, teaching and assessing pupils, as well as overall effective delivery of the UK Art National Curriculum from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.
Candidates applying for this full time Art Teacher role must have strong personal qualifications, with a 2:1 in a relevant subject from a good university and at least a B in Art at A Level. You must hold QTS and have mainstream Secondary school experience as an Art Teacher.
The salary for this full time Art Teacher position will range from £28355 to £44541 depending on the experiences and qualifications of each candidate.

The school was graded Outstanding in all areas when inspected by Ofsted in April 2015.
The Progress 8 Score is well above average at 0.77.
Pupils are very well behaved and are extremely keen, as well as focused when it comes to learning. In addition to this, the staff are incredibly welcoming and supportive, providing all of those on site with assistance with whatever they need or require.
There are currently 54 extracurricular sessions running at the school that include advance coding, political art, Japanese and cooking.
Requirements
Applications are welcome from Art Teachers at any stage in their career including NQT's as well both British trained and overseas trained Art Teachers.
As a minimum requirement, all applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a full time Art Teacher:
- UK QTS or overseas equivalent
- 2:1 in a relevant subject from a good University
- B in Art at A Level
- Right to work in the UK
- Experienced and knowledge of teaching the Art Curriculum at KS3 to KS5
