Details

This highly successful Secondary SEN School is seeking to appoint an excellent and experienced SEN Teacher for an ASD Class. This role is for the academic year with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right teacher.

You will have a core tutor group who you will teach English, Maths and PSHE to. These students in Key Stage 3 have severe Autism and are working at P Levels. When not with your tutor group, you will teach across the School a range of different subjects to other Key Stage 3 groups. The school benefits from excellent staffing ratios, small class sizes and a highly personalised approach to learning. The class consists of no more than 7 pupils with needs are complex and you will have the full-time support of 2 skilled Teaching Assistants.

As an Outstanding School, they really pour a lot of energy into their staff and their development so training and support is phenomenal and you can expect opportunities for career growth and to utilise your strengths. Behaviour, again, is Outstanding. The learning environment which they have created is calm and reassuring and you will find that Teachers have a nurturing approach in this School.

The Ideal Applicant

Due to the needs of the classes, the Head Teacher is seeking to appoint an experienced practitioner who has at least 1 years recent experience teaching in a similar environment in the UK delivering to children with the same needs - Autism.

Interviews to be arranged ASAP! Please apply below or contact Kiesha @ REESON direct on 02038410777 for more details.
