ASD Tutor:

Based in London, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutor to support a KS1 student with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and PDA. This role begins in September and offers 30 hours per week of meaningful, one-to-one teaching based in London.

  • The PDA tutor will need to adapt resources to suit the student
  • Build a trusting relationship that encourages engagement

About the ASD tutor tuition

Based in London, The student is autistic with a PDA profile, meaning they experience high anxiety around everyday demands and require a flexible, relationship-based approach. They thrive best when learning feels collaborative, low-demand, and emotionally safe.

Ideal ASD tutor:

  • Experience working with SEN children, particularly those with autism (ASD)

  • Confident in planning and adapting lessons in line with KS1 learning objectives.

  • Calm, empathetic, and responsive to the child's needs and cues.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

ASD tutor requirements:

  • Experience in SEN, tutoring, or teaching (particularly with autism).

  • Good understanding of the KS1 curriculum.

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
