Behaviour Mentor

  • Immediate start
  • Competitive rates of pay
  • New school specialising in Languages and Science
  • Ideal for a graduate looking to gain experience in schools

A Behaviour Mentor is needed urgently at a new Secondary School in East London.

This Behaviour Mentor role will be full time.

If appointed, you will be required to work in the Upper School site, in the Internal Exclusion Room.

Strong behaviour management, patience under pressure and a willingness to work as part of team will be key attributes the school will look for in their ideal Behaviour Mentor.

The rates of pay for this Behaviour Mentor post will range from £70 to £120 a day, depending on each applicants qualifications and experience.

The School

There is currently no Ofsted rating for the school, as it has only recently opened.

A heavy focus is placed on Grammar at the school.

Students are entered in to GCSE and EPQ qualifications.

From Year 7 to Year 11, all pupils learn the 3 Core Sciences, English, Maths, Ethics and Sports.

At 6th Form level, all pupils must take up a Maths and Science course. They must then choose two more subjects from Philosophy, Economics, Humanities, Latin, English Literature or Art. The reason for this is because the school wants to produce future scientists, medics and engineers.

Currently the school is split across two different sites that fall in two neighbouring boroughs, with one acting as the main site for lower school and the other acting as the upper school site.
