Behaviour Support Assistant

An excellent mixed all through mainstream school in North London, is seeking a qualified and experienced full time Behaviour Support Assistant. This Behaviour Support Assistant post is suitable for both graduates and experienced candidates.

The school are looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with individual pupils, or small groups, who are on a reduced timetable, in a small inclusion room. Supporting them to work hard, outside of the classroom, preparing them to return to the classroom.

Candidates applying for this full time Behaviour Support Assistant role do not need to be a teacher but must have experience working in schools with pupils.

The salary for this full time Behaviour Support Assistant position will range from £14000 to £19000 depending on the qualifications and experience of each candidate.

The School

The school was graded Outstanding in all areas when inspected by Ofsted in April 2015.

The Progress 8 Score is well above average at 0.77.

Pupils are very well behaved and are extremely keen, as well as focused when it comes to learning. In addition to this, the staff are incredibly welcoming and supportive, providing all of those on site with assistance with whatever they need or require.

There are currently 54 extracurricular sessions running at the school that include advance coding, political art, Japanese and cooking.

Requirements

Applications are welcome from Behaviour Support Assistants at any stage in their career including graduates as well as both British trained and overseas trained Behaviour Support Assistants.

As a minimum requirement, all Behaviour Support Assistants applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a full time Behaviour Support Assistants:
