The School
Reeson Education is currently recruiting for a specialist setting. The provision provides quality education for children with complex backgrounds, mental health issues and sometimes challenging behaviour. Pupils have mental health needs including Anxiety, Depression, Self harm, Autism, AHDH, ODD and Schizophrenia. They require a strong and resilient support worker who will be patient, caring, understanding, firm and fair.
Person Specification
- Previous experience of supporting students / young people with challenging behaviour
- Confident, calm and collected in a School environment
- Reliable & punctual
- Resilient
- Confident managing challenging situations
- Role Model and Mentor
- Ability to build rapport with individual pupils
Mental Health Support - Barking and Dagenham
- You will be responsible for supporting students around school
- Supporting and mentoring young people to improve their behaviour and actions in school and the community
- 1-1 Mentoring sessions
- You will be a pastoral support and emotional guide and positive role model
