JOB DESCRIPTION
Catering assistant to support the smooth and efficient running of the Academy's in-house catering service by assisting with the preparation, serving, and presentation of food and beverages to students and staff. The Catering Assistant will contribute to maintaining the high standards of quality, hygiene, and customer service that academy is proud to deliver. The school is keen to look over catering assistant CVs ASAP and meet candidates for a paid trial or interview.

- Assist the Catering Manager/Chef in preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the required standard, in accordance with the Daily Production Schedule.
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene standards and portion control at all times.
- Check and record food and storage temperatures in line with the hygiene management system.
- Clean the kitchen, its surrounds, and all equipment according to the published cleaning rota.
- Wash kitchen utensils and equipment, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment at all times.
- Account for stock and ingredients used in line with the Daily Production Schedule.
- Unload and store deliveries safely and correctly
REQUIREMENTS
