Chemistry Teacher

A position for a qualified and experienced Chemistry Teacher has become available at an excellent co-educational independent school in Surrey. The post is suitable for both NQTs and experienced candidates.

The school is looking to appoint from immediately. The post for this Chemistry Teacher role is temporary.

Candidates applying for this Chemistry Teacher role must have strong personal qualifications, with a 2:1 in a relevant subject from a good university and at least a B in Chemistry at A Level. You must hold QTS and have mainstream Secondary school experience as a Chemistry Teacher.

The salary for this Chemistry Teacher position will range from £28355 to £44541 depending on the experiences and qualifications of each candidate.

The school was founded in 1855 with Royal patronage granted by Her Majesty Queen Victoria. Today her patron is Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Requirements

Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage in their career including NQT's as well both British trained and overseas trained Chemistry Teachers.

As a minimum requirement, all applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Chemistry Teacher:

  • UK QTS, PGCE or overseas equivalent
  • 2:1 in a relevant subject from a good University
  • B in Chemistry at A Level
  • Right to work unhindered in the UK
  • Experienced and knowledge of teaching the Chemistry Curriculum
