Computer Science Teacher

Immediate start for a qualified and experienced Computer Science Teacher in a 'Outstanding' mixed mainstream school in North London.

This will be a full time Computer Science Teacher post.

The is suitable for if you are an NQT or experienced Computer Science Teacher.

Responsibilities for this Computer Science Teacher role will include all standard elements of class teaching, such as planning, teaching and assessing pupils, as well as overall effective delivery of the UK Computer Science National Curriculum from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5.

Candidates applying for this full time Computer Science Teacher role must have strong personal qualifications. You must hold QTS and have mainstream Secondary school experience as a Computer Science Teacher, preferably in the UK.

The salary for this full time Computer Science Teacher position will range from £28355 to £44541 depending on the experiences and qualifications of each candidate.

The School

The school was graded Outstanding in all areas when inspected by Ofsted in April 2015.

The Progress 8 Score is well above average at 0.77.

Pupils are very well behaved and are extremely keen, as well as focused when it comes to learning. In addition to this, the staff are incredibly welcoming and supportive, providing all of those on site with assistance with whatever they need or require.

There are currently 54 extracurricular sessions running at the school that include advance coding, political art, Japanese and cooking.

However, in order to be shortlisted for this position as a Computer Science Teacher, you must ideally be able to follow the UK Curriculum and hold QTS in the UK.
