A Computer Science Teacher is needed in mixed Secondary School in North London.
This Computer Science Teacher role will be full time and long term/permanent.
You will need to teach KS3 to KS5 classes if appointed as a Computer Science Teacher.
Standard responsibilities will apply to this Computer Science Teacher post. This includes but is not limited to; planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending meetings/parents evenings.
The rates of pay for this Computer Science Teacher position will be between £160 to £260 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each applicant.
The School
A 'Good' community Secondary School for pupils aged 11 to 16.
There is a diverse intake of pupils with 74% speaking English as an Additional Language.
Child Mental Health is of great importance at the school and it is considered one of their defining qualities.
Many of the Primary schools in the area have strong ties to the school and the team works directly with them, to ease the transition for pupils in to Year 7.
Other partnerships of note are with Tottenham Hotspur FC, New River Teaching Alliance, CONEL, The London School of Economics, Apple and IntoUniversity.
Requirements
You are encouraged to apply if you are a newly qualified Computer Science Teacher or experienced Computer Science Teacher.
Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Computer Science Teacher or overseas trained Computer Science Teacher.

- Right to work in the UK
- UK QTS or an overseas equivalent
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- Experience of teaching as a Computer Science Teacher in UK schools
