Role: Cover Supervisor
Pay: £ 90 to £120 P/D (Depending Upon Experience)
Are you passionate about working with children and looking for a new opportunity in education? Reeson Education is seeking a cover supervisor to work in a mainstream primary school based in Haringey.
As a cover supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and managing classes in the absence of a teacher. You will need to be confident and adaptable, able to engage students and maintain good classroom management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes of primary school children
- Maintaining a safe and orderly learning environment
- Providing feedback on student progress to teachers and parents/guardians
- Collaborating with other teachers and support staff to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
- Following the school's behaviour policy and enforcing it consistently and fairly
- Ensuring that all students are engaged and challenged during lessons.
- Supporting students with their learning, including assisting with tasks and answering questions
- Managing any classroom resources or equipment as required
Requirements:
- A passion for working with children and a desire to support their learning.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and support staff.
- Ability to maintain good classroom management and ensure a safe learning environment.
- A confident and adaptable approach to teaching
Experience working in a school environment or with children is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in education or for someone looking to work flexible hours.
