Cover Supervisor (Part Time) - Secondary Alternative Provision School - Harrow - January Start
We are working with a fantastic secondary alternative provision school in Harrow that is seeking a part-time Cover Supervisor to join their team from January.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking alternative provision setting, supporting students with a range of needs, including challenging behaviours. The role would suit someone confident in managing a classroom environment and delivering pre-set work, with previous tutoring experience being highly desirable.
Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:
Supervising classes during teacher absence
Delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting student engagement
Managing behaviour positively and effectively
Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis when required
Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff
Cover Supervisor Attributes:
Experience working with secondary-aged students
Proven experience managing challenging behaviours
Tutoring experience (academic or intervention-based)
Calm, resilient, and confident approach
Strong communication and classroom management skills
