Cover Supervisor - Harrow - Part Time - November Start - Long Term

We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary provision in Harrow on a long-term, part-time basis starting this November.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students stay on track with their learning.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can think on their feet, and has the confidence to engage young people who may display challenging behaviours.
Cover Supervisor Responsibilities
Supervise classes across a range of subjects using provided lesson plans
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a calm learning atmosphere
Support students in staying focused and completing their work
Report back to teaching staff on student progress and any issues that arise
Cover Supervisor Attributes
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
Resilience, patience, and a positive attitude
Experience working with young people in an educational or youth setting (desired but not essential)
A genuine passion for helping students reach their potential
