A Cover Supervisor is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London.
This Cover Supervisor position will be part time and temporary in the first instance.
If appointed as Cover Supervisor, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Covering different classes in the absence of teachers
- Ensuring pupils are behaving in line with the school's policies
- Setting up lessons on the interactive whiteboards and providing pupils with resources
- Promoting positive interactions and behaviour amongst pupils in class
- Organising completed work and providing handovers to other members of staff
The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor post will be between £82.14 and £130, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School
A Mixed Community Secondary School & Sixth Form for pupils aged 11 to 19 years old, located in the London Borough of Greenwich.
It was established in 1913 and there are currently just under 1500 pupils enrolled at the school.

Extracurricular clubs run over the year include Art, Film, History, ICT, Maths, Urdu, Arabic, Tamil, Statistics, Music, Dance and Drama as well as various Sports and PE clubs.
Requirements
You're welcome to apply if you're a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor.
Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor.
All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this role as a Cover Supervisor:
- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
- Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Cover Supervisor in UK schools
