A Cover Teacher is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South East London.
This Cover Teacher position can be part or full time and be short term in the first instance.
If appointed as a Cover Teacher, your duties and expectations will include but not be limited to:
- Cover different lessons in the absence of class teachers
- Manage pupil behaviour effectively and promote positive behaviour
- Engage with pupils in classes and ensure the schools behaviour policies
- Hold good understanding of ICT and how to carry out basic administrative tasks
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and adapt to different situations effectively
The rates of pay for this Cover Teacher role will be between £82.14 to £100 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements
You will be considered if you're a recent Graduate or qualified and experienced Cover Teacher.
Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Teacher or overseas trained Cover Teacher.
All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a Cover Teacher:
- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
- Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Cover Teacher in UK schools
