One of London's top Independent Prep day schools are looking to appoint a full time Deputy Headteacher (Pastoral). The School is looking to appoint an inspiring, emotionally intelligent, and approachable leader with proven experience of working in Senior or Middle Leadership. The Head has delegated to the Deputy Head (Pastoral) day-to-day responsibility for providing exceptional pastoral care to the pupils and staff in the School.
This school is known for its strengths in pastoral care and offer an exciting opportunity for a candidate to lead and share the pastoral direction of the school further. This role is full time, with a 60% Teaching timetable. The school offers day school education to boys up to Year 3, Lower KS2. The teaching timetable will require a dynamic and outstanding practitioner to work across the EYFS - Lower KS2 key stages.
The Deputy Headteacher (Pastoral) role offers responsibility for the overall quality of pastoral care, alongside leading a high provision of a stimulating and stretching curriculum. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and should be committed to the continued alignment between academic and pastoral sides of school life. In this Senior leadership position, the role will require someone with strong communication skills, leadership experience and confidence in working with pupils, parents and staff alike.
