THE ROLE
You will be teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 and will need to be confident in delivering GCSE to a high standard. Ideally you will be a product design specialist, however as all specialisms are offered on the modern curriculum a multi skilled practitioner would be ideal to complement the department.
The Design and Technology department is well resourced and well run, the team work together and continually raise standards. Enterprise and Business is embedded in the school's ethos and teaching right across the curriculum, and this has been found to bring passion and excellence to teaching and learning. They have spacious and modern Design Technology suites that use the very latest in equipment and machinery.
This position will be starting in January on a 2 term fixed term maternity contract. After this, the school will consider you (subject to meeting their standards for success) for a permanent job for September 2021.
