Reeson Education are currently working with a mainstream primary school based in Tottenham, Haringey. The school is looking to onboard a Teaching assistant with qualification or experience in Drama or similar Arts.
The ideal candidate will either need to be a graduate or have previous experience working in Arts background. In this role you will be working closely with the drama department to support the teachers and students with their daily assignment
However there are multiple vacancies at the school currently where the headteacher has requested for candidates with an Arts, Drama and Musical background. The school have a long history of working with Artists, Dancers and Sports professionals.
As a Drama Learning Support Assistant you will:
- Working with students across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 (EYFS / Reception - Year 6)
- May involve supporting students with mild SEN (ASD, ADHD dyslexia, Speech & Language issues)
- Small group and 1:1 work outside of the classroom
- Running interventions to support lower and higher ability students achieve their best
- Using creativity and imagination to engage students with the primary curriculum.
