Are you an experienced or newly qualified drama Teacher looking for a position in November 2020?
This oversubscribed 11-18 secondary school is based in the North London, borough of Enfield and boasts a diverse and dynamic group of pupils and staff. They're looking for an either an experienced or newly qualified drama Teacher to join their performing Arts department from the start of November 2020. They'll initially offer the drama post on a long-term supply basis, but this is a vacant role so for the right drama teacher it could become a permanent role.
This is a large 11-18 mixed comprehensive with over 1300 students on roll and it has a track record of developing staff regardless of subject area. The performing arts department is well resourced and they've recently refurbished their drama studio.
The successful drama teacher will be required to teach a time-table of drama at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 to mixed ability classes.
The majority of the teaching at this school is good or excellent and the school is outstanding overall. The key to the schools success is their ethos for learning, it allows all students to make progress in particular pupils with learning difficulties and those whose first language isn't English.
