DT Teacher

A position for DT Teacher has become available at a prestigious school in Westminster.

This position for a DT Teacher is suitable for both NQTs and experienced applicants. The school is looking to employ for January 2020 on a full-time basis.

The school are looking for a DT Teacher who can provide the following:

  • KS3 Resistant Materials, Textiles and Electronics
  • KS4 AQA D&T (with Product Design specialism)
  • KS5 Edexcel D&T Product Design

Salary for this role as a DT Teacher will range from £30480 to £49571 depending on the experience and qualifications of applicants.

The School

A unique all-girls Church Of England secondary school with academy status. The school also has a mixed Sixth Form. Rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted upon each visit.

2019 A Levels

35.3% of all grades were A*-A, 63.8% at A*-B, and 84.5% at A*-C.

Students have secured university places across the United Kingdom from Edinburgh to Exeter, with seven places at Oxford.

7 students gained places at Oxford University to read History (2), English (2), Music, Law and French Law, Art.

2019 GCSEs

91% of students achieved grades 9-4 in English and Mathematics with the same percentage achieving at least five or more GCSEs at this level.

Requirements

Applications are welcome from DT Teachers who are UK trained, as well as overseas trained candidates, with relevant UK equivalents of their qualifications.
