DT Teacher required in a Secondary School in South East London.
The school are seeking a skilled DT Teacher to teach pupils across all key stages.
This DT Teacher position is a September start.
As a work environment for a DT Teacher, the school is well equipped and is run by a supportive team that works closely to keep pupils happy, as well as safe.
The school does have a high number of SEN pupils, particularly those with ASD. There are also a variety of LAPs. Therefore, a DT Teacher that can effectively differentiate is preferred.
Ability to teach Food Technology would be advantageous for this DT Teacher position.

The salary for this DT Teacher position will be between £32157 and £50935, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School
A mainstream independent school for pupils aged 11 to 19.
The school has very good provisions for children with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).
Class sizes are kept small in order for each pupil to be provided with the right amount of attention and support during lessons.
Staff have been credited as taking an active role in all areas of pupil development, from feedback of ex pupils and parents.
As of 2018, the ISI Inspection Report finds the school to be Good to Outstanding across all areas.
Requirements
Applications are welcome if you are a DT Teacher at any stage in your career, including if you are a British trained DT Teacher or overseas trained DT Teacher.
