Experienced DT Teacher required urgently in a coeducational Secondary school in South West London.
If appointed as a DT Teacher, you will be required to teach DT from KS3 to KS4.
As the school is new, the team would be keen to take on a DT Teacher that has experience of teaching a wide variety of pupils.
The rates of pay for this DT Teacher position will range from £130 to £230 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each candidate.
The School
The school opened in September 2020, with its first group of Year 7 pupils. As such, it hasn't been inspected by Ofsted.
Moving forward, the school has the provisions and facilities to accommodate pupils aged 11 to 16 years old.
This makes it an excellent opportunity for an NQT to join and develop a long term career, with plenty of support and opportunities available to progress.
In terms of the site, the school has state of the art buildings, providing all staff and pupils with an inspiring work environment.
Working closely with the associated 6th Form in the area, the team is looking to ensure a smooth transition for pupils that complete their GCSEs and move on to A Levels.
MFL is the schools specialism, with Chinese and Spanish being taught to all Key Stage 3 pupils.
Requirements
You can apply if you are a newly qualified DT Teacher or experienced DT Teacher.
Applications are also welcome if you are at any stage in your career, including if you are a British DT Teacher or overseas trained DT Teacher.
All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as a DT Teacher:
- Right to work in the UK
- UK QTS or overseas equivalent
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- Relevant experience of teaching as a DT Teacher in the UK
