A welcoming and well-resourced primary school is seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children during their most important developmental years.

The school offers a nurturing environment, supportive leadership, and a strong focus on child development, learning through play, and early communication skills.

The Role:

  • Supporting children across Nursery and/or Reception

  • Delivering high-quality early years provision in line with the EYFS framework

  • Supporting children's social, emotional and educational development

  • Working closely with the class teacher and Early Years team

  • Observing, assessing and contributing to learning journals

  • Creating a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment

  • Supporting routines, transitions and personal care where required

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years or BA in Early Childhood Studies (or equivalent)

  • Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (essential)

  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum

  • Previous experience working within a school or early years setting

  • A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
