Early Years Practitioner | Nursery & Primary | £82.14-£100 per day | ASAP Start | Full-Time | East London
Reeson Education is working with fantastic nurseries and primary schools across East London, in the borough of Waltham Forest, who are looking for passionate Early Years Practitioners to join their Early Years teams. If you love working with young children and want the flexibility to work in either nursery or school settings, this Early Years Practitioner role is ideal for you.
You'll be supporting children across areas including Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, Chingford, Highams Park, and Woodford-all with great transport links.
The Role:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll work flexibly across nurseries and primary schools (EYFS), supporting children aged 0-5 in their early learning and development. You'll help create engaging, play-based activities, support routines, and contribute to observations and assessments in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development
- Support children's personal, social, emotional, and physical development
- Observe and track children's progress, contributing to EYFS assessments
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners
- Support daily routines including snack times, naps, and personal care
- Work collaboratively with teachers, room leaders, and parents
- Follow safeguarding procedures and maintain health and safety standards at all times
What We're Looking For:
- Level 2 or above in Childcare/Early Years (CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) OR an Early Childhood degree
- A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
- A genuine love of working with babies, toddlers, and young children
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
- Flexibility to work across nursery and primary school EYFS settings
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, nurturing approach
