The Role - Early Years Practitioner
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
- Support children aged 2-5 in a nursery or Reception setting
- Deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with EYFS
- Monitor progress and contribute to learning journals
- Encourage social, emotional and communication development
- Work closely with colleagues and parents to support pupil outcomes
Schools and nurseries are looking for a proactive Early Years Practitioner who understands safeguarding, child development milestones and structured early learning environments.
Requirements for the Early Years Practitioner Role
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare (essential)
- Previous nursery or EYFS classroom experience
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework
- A calm, patient and energetic approach
- Strong communication skills
