Your Role as an Early Years Practitioner:
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be working within a Nursery or Reception class, supporting children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The successful Early Years Practitioner will help create a safe, stimulating and engaging environment where children can learn through play and exploration.
Key responsibilities for the Early Years Practitioner include:
- Supporting children's learning and development across the EYFS curriculum
- Delivering small group activities and interventions
- Monitoring progress and contributing to observations and assessments
- Promoting positive behaviour and social development
This Early Years Practitioner role requires a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, alongside experience working in an EYFS setting.
We're Looking For in an Early Years Practitioner:
- Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare (essential)
- Previous experience as an Early Years Practitioner
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach
