Reeson Education is recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to work in welcoming private nurseries across Waltham Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Early Years Practitioner who enjoys supporting young children during the most important stages of their development.
Nurseries across Waltham Forest, including areas such as Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone and Chingford, are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to support children within a nurturing and engaging early years environment.
Role Overview
The Early Years Practitioner will play a key role in supporting children aged 0-5, encouraging curiosity, creativity and early learning through structured and play-based activities. The Early Years Practitioner will work closely with nursery staff to provide a safe, stimulating and supportive environment for all children.
Responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner
- Supporting children's development in line with the EYFS framework
- Delivering engaging play-based learning activities
- Supporting communication, social development and early language skills
- Encouraging early phonics, early maths and creative play
- Assisting with daily routines, care and safeguarding responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with nursery teams to ensure a positive learning environment
Requirements for the Early Years Practitioner
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification is required
- Previous experience working as an Early Years Practitioner or in a nursery setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
