Role Overview - Early Years Practitioner
The successful Early Years Practitioner will support children within the EYFS framework, helping to create a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment. The Early Years Practitioner will work closely with staff to deliver activities that support early development and learning.
The Early Years Practitioner will play a key role in promoting social, emotional and cognitive development through structured play and learning activities.
Responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner
- Supporting children as an Early Years Practitioner in daily activities and routines
- Assisting with the delivery of EYFS-based learning
- Encouraging play-based learning and development
- Supporting children's social and emotional wellbeing
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive environment as an Early Years Practitioner
Requirements for the Early Years Practitioner
- Previous experience as an Early Years Practitioner or in a nursery setting
- Understanding of the EYFS framework
- A caring, patient and energetic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
