REESON Education are working in partnership with a prestigious Independent Pre-Preparatory school in the London Borough of Barnet. The school are recruiting for an experienced Early Years Teacher to join on a permanent basis in September 2020.

The school caters for pupils aged 0 - 5 and operates a very high staff: student ratio in order to provide each pupil with the time and attention needed to maximise their potential. For every 8 pupils enrolled between the ages of 3 and 5, there will be a minimum of 1 member of qualified Early Years staff to assist.

Behaviour at the school is exemplary across all age ranges and the majority of pupils leave school aged 5 and go on to study at selective Independent Institutions.

The role of the Early Years Teacher will entail taking responsibility for the teaching of a smaller-than-average class of high achieving 4 year olds. As a Qualified Early Years Teacher you will plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework. You will be able to use differentiation effectively to challenge the needs of each individual, and track progress effectively in order to feedback regularly to parents/carers and members of SLT.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for Early Years Education as well as a proven track record of success working with pupils aged 3 - 5 in either the Independent or Mainstream Education sectors. A minimum of 1 year's experience as an Early Years Teacher in either Nursery or Reception is preferred, however applications from experienced Primary Teachers with an Early Years specialism will also be considered. Applicants must also possess either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS).

Recruitment in the Independent Sector takes place earlier than within State Schools, therefore please apply early to avoid disappointment. Interviews for successful applicants will take place at the end of February.

If you are an experienced Early Years Teacher looking for a new challenge, please contact Amy at REESON today.
