Economics Teacher

I am working with an exceptional girls school who are looking to appoint an economics teacher to start September 2020. This is a part time contract position, NQTs are welcome to apply.

The position will involve teaching economics up to KS5 on a part time basis. The school is able to make the role full time if you are able to offer a second subject, however they do not have business studies on the curriculum.

This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a supportive and dynamic working environment and join a highly successful and well equipped teaching staff. The school is looking for an Economics teacher who has a real passion for their subject and will be willing to work hard to support their students and help them to realise their potential.

You will have access to excellent resources and facilities and the students are both well behaved and keen to learn. To be eligible for this opportunity as an Economics teacher you must:

  • Hold a subject relevant degree
  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification and hold UK Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate, or be willing to obtain one and undergo relevant safeguarding checks
  • Be able to provide to recent, satisfactory references
