Economics Teacher
An exceptional Co-educational Independent School in Surrey is urgently seeking a qualified and experienced Economics Teacher.
This Economics Teacher post is suitable for both NQTs and experienced candidates. Economics Teacher applicants will need to be able to teach Economics from KS4 to KS5, with a heavy focus on A Level.
Economics Teacher applicants will ideally have experience of teaching Business Studies as well.
An important part of this Economics Teacher role will be the ability to effectively teach Business Management.
Candidates applying for this Economics Teacher role must have strong personal qualifications. You must hold QTS and have mainstream Secondary school experience as an Economics Teacher.
The salary for this Economics Teacher position will range from £30400 to £58400 depending on the experiences and qualifications of each candidate.
The School
The school was founded in 1855 with Royal patronage granted by Her Majesty Queen Victoria. Today her patron is Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
Recently the school has received wide public recognition and a sister school has opened in Malaysia.
Pupils are taught on a 85 acre estate with fantastic natural beauty.
Based on academic results of pupils, the school has now become the strongest performing co-ed school in Surrey at A Level.
It now falls in the top 1% of schools nationally and the top 5% of all Independent schools.

Requirements
Applications are welcome if you are an Economics Teacher at any stage in your career including a Newly Qualified Economics Teacher, British trained Economics Teacher or overseas trained Economics Teacher.
As a minimum requirement, all applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this position as an Economics Teacher:
- UK QTS or overseas equivalent
- Right to work unhindered in the UK
- Ability to teach Business Studies as an Economics Teacher
- Experience of working as an Economics Teacher in the UK
