English Mentor

An English Mentor is needed in a Mixed Secondary School in South London.

Employment for this English Mentor role will be full time and long term.

Tutoring for this English Mentor post will be for KS4 English, in line with the National Curriculum.

Working days for this English Mentor position will consist of six 1 hour sessions, tutoring 1 to 3 pupils at a time.

The rates of pay for this English Mentor position will be between £72 to £150 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

Requirements

You are encouraged to apply if you are an English Graduate, experienced English Mentor or English Tutor.

Applications are also welcome if you are a British trained English Mentor or overseas trained English Mentor.

However, working knowledge of the National Curriculum will be essential.

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • Experience of working as an English Mentor in the UK
  • A UK Bachelor's Degree in English or overseas equivalent
