English Teacher:

REESON Education are currently looking for an English Teacher to work within a SEN through school situated in Central London. This is a permanent position starting from September. This is an incredible opportunity to work within an outstanding, independent special school situated in West London. This school specialises in educating students with dyslexia and therefore the successful SEN teacher needs to have prior experience working with children who have needs such as dyspraxia and dyscalculia. The successful candidate will need to have strong subject knowledge of this core subject. This is a full-time position teaching small classes between Key Stages 3 to 4. As a English teacher in this school you will have access to fantastic resources and highly supportive.

The School:

This outstanding special school is situated in central London and was established in the early 80's. They have approximately 200 students between the ages of 5 -16 and can support pupils with high and low forms of dyslexia. It is the school's priority to make sure each student has an individual focus, in order to achieve progression. This school has fantastic amenities for all members of staff.

The Ideal Applicant:

The Headteacher is incredibly successful and is highly valued by all members of staff. They are looking for someone who is confident, driven, eager to learn, flexible and can take initiative. As this vacancy is a September start it is key for any new member of staff that joins the school that a smooth transition takes place, in order to create minimal disruption for the students. The ideal candidate will need to have QTS and preferably have qualifications in teaching students with dyslexia.
